Parade Route

Starting at King Georges Playing Fields
Making our way down Victoria Road East
Turning left on to Lawsons Road
Continuing down Trunnah Road
Turning left on to Fleetwood Road North

Ending back at King Georges Playing Fields


Gala Day Timetable

10 am - The retiring Prince Charming will raise the gala flag with Chairman Holly Moorhouse

11am - The Thornton-Cleveleys Gala retinues and visiting retinues will take part in our Service of Remembrance at Thornton Cenotaph

11:15 am -Judging of the fancy dress classes

12 pm - Parade leaves King Georges Playing Fields 

          - Funfair and stalls open on the Gala Field (King George's playing Fields, Victoria Road East, Thornton)

1 pm - Parade returns to King Georges Playing Fields
        - community group displays on the Gala Field (King George's Playing Fields, Victoria Road East, Thornton)

- Trophies presented to our winners of the day on King Georges Playing Fields.

2 pm - Crowning ceremony will commence on King Georges Playing Fields

9 - Decorated Conveyance - The Doris MacNaughton Trophy

10 - School Section - The School Trophy

11 - Decorated Mobility Scooter/
Wheelchair - TBC

12 - Supreme Exhibit - The Chris Mason Trophy

13 - Best Overall Visiting Queen - The Evie Lindsey Memorial Trophy
